How To Donate To The Child Abuse Council

The Child Abuse Council is a private not-for-profit agency providing treatment, prevention and community education services offered free of charge to our clients.  The Council receives state grants and contracts, is partially funded by United Way, and relies heavily on private foundations, corporations, businesses and individuals to continue to provide excellence in services to Quad City children and their families.

You can help a child with no additional cost you by ordering your through I-give.

Be a Lifesaver!  You can make a difference by making a donation one or more of the following ways:

  • Honorary and/or Memorial Gifts 

    Honor those you love through a gift to help the littlest members of our community…our children.  Honorary or memorial gifts are a beautiful way to recognize someone special in your life.  There may be no better way to pay tribute to someone through a gift with lasting meaning.  

     

    This special gift can touch friends and family deeply while helping to improve the well-being of children and their families in the Quad Cities.

     

    Honorary and memorial gifts to the Child Abuse Council are used to fulfill our mission to prevent child abuse and neglect in the community.  Consider a gift: in lieu of flowers, to remember persons at the time of their death, to honor an individual, to mark an anniversary, birthday, or Mothers/Fathers day, or at the birth of a baby.

  • Underwriting

    The publications produced throughout the year can be underwritten with your gift.  A special acknowledgment honoring the donor will be included in the publication.

  • Sponsor an Event

    The Child Abuse Council hosts a variety of special events, meetings, and conferences during the year such as our Lifesaver Campaign, Legislative Breakfast, or our Annual Community Dinner.  Please contact us at (309)764-7017 ext.105 or 106 for more information.

  • Gifts through the Community Foundation of the River Bend - The Child Abuse Council has an endowed fund through the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend.
