COMMUNITY MURAL PROJECT

QCArtsLogo.jpg

What was once a white wall facing thousands of cars driving on Sixth Avenue through downtown Moline has become a vibrant mural showcasing our purpose: creating healthy families and happy childhoods.

Sarah Robb, a Quad Cities artist well known for creating beautiful public murals, developed a colorful design and led volunteers from the community in painting the mural on the exterior of the Child Abuse Council office at 524 15th St., Moline. It was completed on August 18, 2018 – a fitting day, as it was the 41st birthday of the Child Abuse Council.

See the complete progress of the mural on our Facebook page.

This project was supported by Quad City Arts Dollars, provided by the Illinois Arts

Council Agency, Hubbell-Waterman Foundation and John Deere.
