Speakers Bureau

Speakers will make presentations to groups, including service and social clubs, high school classes, and church groups.  Topics include: positive discipline, child abuse prevention, parental stress, emotional abuse,  mandatory reporting, and communication skills.  The majority of the speakers have offered presentation for years and are able to from a personal prospective.  Contact Sherry at info@childabuseqc.org

Community Education Displays

Volunteers work at events and fairs, distributing the Council's awareness and educational materials.

 

 Lifesaver Campaign

The Be a Lifesaver Campaign is an annual fundraiser whereby staff and volunteers collect donations in exchange for Lifesaver candy and child abuse prevention materials.

April Child Abuse Prevention Month

Never Shake a Baby Campaign

The Never Shake a Baby Campaign targets daycare providers, parents, and the general public in an effort to educate them about the risks involved with shaking a baby, how to prevent Shaken Baby Syndrome, and provides positive parenting information.
